We are part of the Church of England‘s Diocese of Chelmsford.
Within our Diocese, parishes are grouped together to cooperate in mission and ministry. St Mary’s is one of five parishes in the West Roding Mission Partnership, together with:
We hold occasional joint services, and work on a number of projects together, including our loss and bereavement cafes, and chaplaincy at Snaresbrook Crown Court. Three of our parishes jointly employ our youth worker, Clare.
Ecumenical links
Within Woodford, we link to other churches through the Woodford Fellowship of Christian Churches, which arranges a joint service each year in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, and a joint carol service in Advent.
We have particularly close ties with
St Anne Line Roman Catholic Church
and we organise joint Lent study groups with them every year.
